Consumer credit checks

There are two different types consumer credit checks available:

Consumer Enquiry

You can use this service to understand a customer's credit history before granting credit.

VedaScore Consumer

Scoring provides additional benefits over conducting a basic credit enquiry. Not all high risk applicants have derogatory information. VedaScores identify 'clean' high risk applicants that are equally as risky as those applicants with prior derogatories.

Commercial credit checks

There are different commercial credit checks available, depending on the potential level of risk you may be exposed to and the type of entity you are investigating.

Basic Risk Assessments - Individual/Sole Trader

A basic risk assessment provides you with the commercial credit records of a business proprietor, company director or a sole trader or director guarantee of a company.

Basic Risk Assessments - Company/Business

A basic risk assessment provides you with the commercial credit records of a company or business stored on the Veda Advantage database.

Scored Risk Assessments

Scored risk assessments offer an objective means of predicting the risk associated with a commercial credit application.

In-depth Risk Assessment

In-depth risk assessments provide a complete view of a commercial entity and the people behind it.

Investigative Risk Assessment

Can provide you with the vital information you need to manage your high risk commercial credit exposures.

Check public record data

There are two types of public record enquirires available

Individual Public Record Enquiry

This service allows you to conduct an Individual public enquiry of information sourced from ITSA, ASIC and court records. You can also conduct an electronic verification to confirm the person's identity details.

ITSA Searches

The ITSA Search service allows you to search the Insolvency Trustee Service of Australia (ITSA) database for bankruptcy and insolvency related data.

International commercial credit checks

International commercial credit checks allow you to verify the credentials of an overseas company before entering into a business relationship with them.
